Reduced to £7.50. A blend of Trebbiano, Pecorino & Cococciola.

This quirky creature is stunning with a honeysuckle nose and a silky, greengage palate with a feisty, thirst-quenching finish (writes a well-known journalist).

One moment silver polish, the next very dry but fruity with a hint of herby / spicey and minerality. Will need to keep trying a few more glasses methinks.

That is one wacky wine Mr Ba.

I'm looking forward to the follow-up.

Cococciola - eh ? That is one wacky varietal - an Italian derivative of ? ? ? ? no, can't resist it . . . . coca cola

A link for the sensible stuff:-

" I thoroughly enjoyed drinking it and am glad that I gave it a shot, even if it has been unpleasant to try and post about. I guess it just goes to show that a grape doesn't have to be interesting in order for the wine to be good"

Lovely warm and sunny day today - Summer at last.

Cheers

Good link Dunc, can associate with all that. Haven't had day 2 yet as have opened an Alsace P.Blanc.
My bike has been reversed-into for the second time in 3 months and this time will be a cat. C write-off.
Loan bike coming tomorrow as is the big fat controller to decide it's future. Want to buy it back if I can.
Hence the nice bottle tonight...dying man's last supper.

Are you able to be philosophical about the morons who wrecked your bike again ?

I'm losing patience with them. Did you observe the incident ? Anybody say sorry - properly !
I'm guessing a refuse truck of some sort ?

Good luck with the negotiations - I'm not sure that you can demand the salvage after they've paid out, so play your cards carefully.
