A few of us picked these up at the end of last year on 50%bin end + 25% off 6
Deep, rich bramble and blueberry notes, which is to be expected from the warmer part of the barossa valley. Not overbaked however and oak has just a gentle presence.
Finishes with mild a hint of liquorice and an abundance of acidity (too much upon opening but settled over time)
Improved a lot over the night so would benefit from a good decanter or a little while more time on the rack.
Hope it should improve over the next a couple of years

That is a result Shez, this wine may go some of the distance, and you have enough bottles to monitor evolution.

You were thinking it was too soft and without Barrossa terroire flavours, if the bottle glass starts to look as if it were being painted black from within on the shoulder, opposite the label, that will be a damn good sign. Do not turn the bottles, best to let the painting continue undisturbed.

A bargain for sure.

Indeed, I hope that these improve over time
Being Stelvin sealed, I've actually got these guys standing up in a box due to lack of room on the rack so monitoring the painting of the bottle may prove a little trickier
None the less, like you say, I have a enough bottles to be able to keep sampling its progress over time
