Its difficult to say. Try decanting a bottle before you go to bed and having a glass when you wake up, only kidding, have a glass the following evening. Its young, give it an airing and see how you get on.

I enjoyed my last bottle of this CdR last night, opened on Tuesday but it sang on the second day. The extra year or so in the bottle didnt really bring much to the party but it was still as nice as the day I got it. Wish I had another dozen.

Gk, I was very sorry that none of that L'Oustalet CdR Reserve could be found in my part of the country.

The Grenache was on song for 2009 as well as '07. When that happens lovely southern Rhones wines are made. I have noticed that expensive Chateauneuf is now made up with far more Grenache in the mix than hitherto. One of the the most expensive CNdP is saw listed the other day at the Wine Society was almost all Grenache.

As far as good french wines are concerned, one hopes that the Co-op will continue to stock them, so that the remainders (on annual clearance) can be enjoyed by the likes of us.

I wish I could have found 6 at that price. Or even 4 !
