Pleasant surprise. More flavour than most, even a little biscuit. 11.5 abv.
Chardonnay plus the usual three others - Cha listed first, so I assume it's largest grape by %ge. Decent drop at this offer price. Yeah, I like it. Never had it before, and can't find it listed on this site previously.
Buy again ? Yep.

Decent drop at this offer price

A fella I met on a rugby trip said that he went to a prostitute in Edinburgh with £8 in his wallet. I asked what he got for £8. He replied....a knee in the groin and a headbutt.

" Not bad for £8 " he said.

I didn't agree.

Stop with the cava

By coincidence, my brother was up in Cilycwm last week where he met a similar lady.
She asked him if he'd like some fun and he told her that he only had a fiver.
'That's alright' she relpied 'I've got change'.

Righty-ho MM, that will be my next.

I notice that the've jumped on the sheep bandwagon with a cava called 'Diamond Jubilee'...urgh.
Supposed to be 59% off, and of course we all believe that one. Full whack would be almost £14.

2010 now and still good. Bright, lemony with hints of good stuff in the background.
Probably in my top 3 basic cavas along with the Monistrol. As always, buy either only when on offer.

I had a sip of a Rose Cava in M&S today. It was very pale, bone dry with a fair bit of biscuit. Very good.

£8.99.........didn't bite though as the Perlate pinot noir rose at the Co-Op has even more biscuit.
