Lovely...nutty and milky, nice in the mouth and very tasty despite no oak.
Just about managed day 2 but lost some of its depth. A one-day jobby for me.
Restores my confidence in Chablis, but £15 normally.

Q. Would you have prefered a subtle oak treatment - which costs another £ ? per bottle. I believe exactly the right oak for a good 1er chablis is bigger money than for a bolder and tannic red

The vintage '10 you had is considered by many to be the best premier cru vintage since 1990. For £11.75 inclusive of rediculous UK taxes for wine, that chablis may turn out to be a top QPR, and not beaten for many decades.

I'm not sure that most folks realise the naked truth of it all. The future is higher taxes and fermentation additives and effects to try and clone that overall effect. I sincerely hope I'm wrong with that comment.
