These were gifts and rewards, I had accrued 4 bottles somehow. One left.

I'd been aging two bottles thought to be from '04 and '05 fruit. A firmish style when on new release, Chard and the two pinots, PN & PM. Typical wedding shampoo.

Now aged, but note, aged in good conditions:

Nice white gentian flowers, floral and yeast nose, followed by patiserrie, crème fraîche filo pastry, and then a little nutty hazel / almond extra, acidity very well balanced, not too dry.

A little softer now, smaller bubbles, less effervescent. The star wine for my dear Misses this Christmas :) . I know this champagne is pretty big money these days, but it is pretty good when aged, and passed the test of leaving in the glass with flying colours, still good for her on day 2.

Not many folks do a TN for an aged Moet NV.
