'Boing' said Zebedee...aroma, genuine vio fruit, a little floral softness, a little kick in the finis, and then another swig - different. It's moved on.
I like this. Aperitif - yep, food - yep, session - almost.
Met a french chappie in Sains, and as the lad re-filling the shelves was busy, we happily advised customers for 20 mins. Then he pointed me at this...'only place for viognIer' he said...'Aude'. So I went for it. Glad I did.

Interesting - 2011 Viognier seems to be trending up. Like the Laurent Miguel Vendanges - the 2010 of this was blah...
Will need to try one!

Just losing a little of it's depth on day 2, a little more acidic but still OK.

Had a lovely one with Averys. Can't stand the lack of apostrophe, but apparently it's the way they like it.

Alpha Domus Wing Walker Viognier, Hawkes Bay 2008 – £ 11.99
This has the most inviting aroma and a deep, rich and ripe taste. I’m not often impressed by viognier as the alcohol seems to burn too often, but this is nicely balanced. I liked it so much I put in an order. 14%

We could organise placards and march to save the apostrophe. Could be some discussion as to where to put it though. Depends on how many Averys (no apostrophe) are involved.
Blow the whale - save the gerund.

Wing Walker not on their site.
