Middle class stuff - WR and co are now trying it on at £19 - 20 a bottle for singles !
I like Cloudy, their vineyards are much more mature. I have never paid more than £13 for it, as it can be found as a piggy back deal as she says, the last lot was about £11.50 per bottle, by the time I'd unscrabbled the deal. Greywacke 2007 was nearer £15 when I last tried it, very nice too. I will look out for some when £10.99 is the offer. It has come down as well in the 18 months / 2 years or so.
I have 2 x '09 Cloudy left and 3 Cloudy tens. Cloudy is quite interesting in as much that it doesn't try and produce thin mouth wash with a splash of passion fruit, and CB's mouth feel and length is much better than 90% (by volume) of the rest. It also keeps well. Cloudy's quality dipped when they diluted the old vine fruit with the new. They have 2nd wines on unbranded labels now - but there is greed with that volume !
Victoria Moore is still thinking pretty mouth wash SB, with high acidity short stabbing to the palate - by the sound of it. I wouldn't argue with the general premise of her piece though.
