No '10s in either of my Sains. Is the '11 good?

Sorry BA - I don't know.

Yeah - I wont the ten, I've been there, from what G says, it has come-on very nicely since Nov '11.

Ordered online, the cheapest delivery slot is less than the petrol to get there

I just phoned my mega store to make sure they pick the 2010 from the stockroom. A kind lady is calling back to qualify my request, the guy on CS is knocking off now. Lisa just rang, she's on tomorrow night as well.

Lots of P & Qs'. They do understand me ....quite well !

The chabby 1er has arrived, all of a sudden my whites cellar is looking up. Hopefully

Quit your ummming and ahhhring and just buy some of the 2011!
Seems to be as good (probably better) vintage as 2010 without the residual sweetness experienced in the youth of many 2010
Jackson estate always comes good. Might or might not be ready now but in a year Goose & D will be harping on about it

I just bought 3 tonigt but am off the booze where possible for the next month or so as I try to trim down so won't. Be able to tell you what it's like

The 2011 will get there. It already looks and smells right. It's just a bit acidic.

That will pass.

Sainsbury's turned up with the Brancott Estate that I rejected, because I dont know it, and I've ordered a box full. They were ever so polite, the delivery lady is a real sweety.

They promise to find me some JE'10 or JE'11 in their vast empire. I will report back here if they manage to achieve that goal.

i've shown them what the JE label looks like

Edited on Sunday morning.

Lisa called from Sainsbury's Calcot - They have found half a dozen bottles, set them aside of the JE'11. I'm taking it, there is no 2010 down south they say, and that clears the mega store's shop stock of Jackson Estate !

Weird that Sains should offer this wine on special offer - Canny shoppers down south do clear everything up - Vultures !

Fill ya boots ! Chance would be a fine thing.....

Picked up 2 more. A 2010 was either returned or had been hidden at the back so I took the solitary bottle
Hardly any more 2011 left either

JE has been taken off Sainsbury's website. In my nearest store it's been replaced by Giesen.

MW have some 2010 in stock though.

Quite refined. Can tell its MSB but has lost some of the pungency - IMHO to its detriment
I prefer blackcurrant and passionfruit notes that you get in more youthful MSB but but this comes at the risk of it being too sweet as was evident in early stages of 2010.
I obviously need to find that right stage in between or catch a good vintage for earlier drinking
