On offer at the Co-op at the mo, till 20th May. 20% off -see Co-op offers in the Supermarket search engine here. For me, the pick of the offers.

This is the 2009, you will find a lot of 2010 on the shelf, I have not tried that vintage. I wanted the ready wine
The 2009 is a lovely southern rhone vintage and this wine is 'a point, and in harmony. The Grenache provides a very good lift to the Syrah substance, Grenache dominates.
I like this wine, it is at te top of its game now, and will not disappoint Rhone lovers. Quite authentic in style, rich and with good legs - typical of a good vintage.

It is 13.5 % ALC which is a bit high, but given the very ripe 2009 harvest, the wine would have been too sweet if the fermentation had been stopped at 12.5% ALC.

Recommended and good value.
