Mel was the first to flag this up about four months ago but only now has it appeared instore. Mathew Jukes also rated this as the 3erd best fizz inc Champagne of 2011.

Stunning nose of biscuit. Pale, bone dry, strawberry and biscuit taste. Quite light in body but a truly gorgeous wine and well worth a star.

Sounds lovely, but maybe too dry for my tastes. None around here, anyway.

None around here either (yet again) but I quite fancy that so will widen the search area.

Tribs,

It's drier than the likes of Wolf Blass, Lindauer but probably not as dry as the driest Champagnes. The nose is huge on this wine. So biscuity that the taste is almost a disappointment.

Almost....but not quite.

Just looked at the label again. It's actually fine. I wasn't expecting it to be Italian.

Ha! got one. It was the 9th. store that I tried.

This will be my very first wine for about 16 weeks, 2 days and 3 hrs, on Saturday night.

Had mine in 2 small glasses per day over 3 days. Very pleasant indeed. I shall add rhubarb and shortbread to the mix.
Much the tastiest and deep of all the cheaper bubbles.

I tried this over christmas. It was actually far sweeter than I was expecting. Was quite nice although could not find much biscuit or bread to my disappointment but I can't remember if I had this stinking cold at the time.
