Just lovely. Bit flabby but the flavour is spot on for a young Sancerre. ( which this isn't ...but that's not the point )

On offer for £10

This has lost it's star as the Finest 09 Pouilly Fume is better at the same price.

On offer again at £10 odd.

As is the PF, but only '08's on the shelves.

Is this worth a go seeing as the PF turns into cabbage water?

The 09 Finest Sancerre is better than the 08 was in Feb of last year. The 09 is more concentrated but it's hanging on by a thread.

Some. like Dunc puts it, will have ' fallen over ', like Wolverhampton Wanderers in a West Midlands derby.

Yeah - "topple" is good, if the wine was hitherto Up There.

Topple - unlike this one, having the benefit of a mysterious anchor

Just tried the '09. Nose is lovely, but it's definitely over the hill.

I wish I'd been able to buy this 12 months ago.
