That's two cheapies from Asda in so many days.

Regretably, Asda is a long way off from here, so any saving to be had by me, is totally obliterated by the cost of Petrol !

I remember, many years ago, finding a decent Californian Pinot Noir in Asda incorrectly priced/reduced to £3.49. Can’t recall the name right now but I’m sure it will come back to me later.

It’s the only time I've ever opened a bottle in the car park to sample the contents. I went straight back in and bought the last eight bottles.

Their wines are largely decent for the price and their offers appear to be genuine savings. The Vinalba Malbec Syrah for £4.98 felt like shoplifting, I think it's back to full price now.

I've ditched Tesco - can't claim to be entirely responsible for their decline in like for like sales over the last quarter, but fed up of having my intelligence insulted by half price offers.
