Offer price. Possibly being sold off as a bin end.

Dry, flint and cabbage water. Good of a type but you really have to like the style.

I don't. At least not as much as I do other styles. No fruit you see. So, unbalanced to my taste.

Still...PF for £6

Guy Saget was a major Loire supplier to Majestic Vintners from about 1983/4 till the end of the decade, and then it just disappeared from the shelves ? Quite trendy at the time.
Saget has a domaine in Pouilly sur Loire, the river bank and the Loire flows on his Dom border I understand. The history will be on the web

Extraordinary that the wine is only a pound or £1.50 more that it was over 25 years ago, when on offer !

The memory says that the wine is quite discrete fruit wise, very ole francaise, good minerality but lacking stuffing (concentration). Probably good on release though, and typical. I don't think they keep well at all, memory says I kept a few too long. The cabage water very much better 15 months ago.

Sorry G - just putting flesh on the bones of GS wines.
