Unusual for this wine to be so developed after only 10 months. Splash of lime, splash of petrol, sweeter than Clare Valley drier than Mosel.

Will be stunning in four years as the flavour starts to overpower the sweetness.

Tad simple now.

Made by Howard Park Estate.

I've been eyeing-up Rieslings again G.

Do I take this, or is it a bit simple until bottle deveLopment kicks-in.

Do you have to have the '10 ?

I have 06 - 07 and 09 but I opened this just to see where it was. The more lime and petrol in it's youth the faster it's develops in the bottle. The 08 and 09 were rich and hard work in their first year/18 months.

This 2010 will be a stunner.

Needs time though.

Buy when reduced and put away ..

-=-

I take it from that Mosel riesling can be dry. My experiance is very limited. I've only had Dr Loosen and other such wines. Intense slatey flavour but sweet....so sweet.

Let's just say sweeter than Clare Valley but drier than Tesco Finest Steliage.
