Co-op: Reduced to clear @ £4
Starts with a nice hit of oak but then BAM comes an Austere & harsh sharp finish

Only bought the one bottle, wouldn't buy any more

This the Muriel wine, have never been a fan of this producer, glad I left this on the shelf.

Acidic or bitter?

Asda's Extra Special Marques Del Norte had a horrible bitter finish that completely disappeared after 24hrs of opening. What was left was fabulous. Unlikely, but it may work with this one.

had this open from Fri - Sunday but it failed to really improve over the course
Probably more acidic than bitter but never seemed to mellow even when given an hour in the glass

gonna have to try the other offerings I've recently aquired now to see whether any are good.

Got 2 of the L'Oustalet CDR & 2 of the FC Saumur Champigny 08 last night (what time does Co-op close on a Sunday ?!!!) to go with the 2 st Hallett & 1 LPE reservado
would hate to find 1 of thesee is a beaut and the shelves to have been cleared before I got some more
