Yet another that has no mention here (see Marlborough Hills). One of my 25% orft doz. and new to me. First glass a little bland, bit oily, bit zingy, bit lemony. OK at 5½ wIne tokens but lets see what a little cold does to it.

I have tried this. I was going through a phase of not posting a tasting note unless the wine was either wonderful or awful. This was neither. It has a fake name, comes in a very smart looking bottle and tastes exactly like Tinpot Hut. TH is a well respected NZ savvy with a flavour that I don't much like.

So, well made for a made up name wine but not to my taste.

A bit more character when a little colder, and a pleasant white wine. No gooseberries, no blackcurrant, no capsicum[s] heading towards the Central valley of Chile if anything. A pleasant fivers worth therefore, but not my idea of MSB. I reckon that this may be Belmont in disguise.
