No longer called Prosecco apparantly. There was an explanation but I couldn't be bothered to read it.

Dry but not harsh with vague hint of strawberry. Beginners wine as Mel would say. That said, give me this over that nasty pinot grigio anyday.

Nice but simple.

Mmmh, I looked at this recently as it was on offer with M&S, I considered sticking a case aside for over xmas and new year.

The M&S customer reviews put me off in the end, although mainly positive they were all along the lines of 'went down well at our wedding reception' & 'my dads 50th' etc.

It was all a bit Agadoo, get my drift?

Like lingerie, M&S doubled the price because it was pink and shiny

2 years ago my eldest daughter bought an E J Gallo similar fake strawberry flossie jobby for a hot afternoon in the garden, It said Brut on the bottle ! Poor girl, she didn't know - Be Warned, absolutely dire.

The Prosecco may have been dry.

They have an Italian sparkling Pinot Noir rose for £8.99. Don't bother it's awful.. Dry and harsh like bad Champagne or Lindauer basic. This won Mel's Prosecco tasting. The opposition was poor. But it is nice in a light bodied kinda way.

Those who haven't drooled over Lindauer Reserve could like it.
