..or £14 in Harrod's.
Stunning. Didn't realise that there was yet another layer of MSBs. Incredible aromas even at 7° but the taste comes in as it warms snifter-wise. Intense tropical fruits, steely underneath and I reckon it will hold up for quite a while yet.
A definite new Numero Uno in the Ba household. The downside is that I can't glug it. Needs repect and attention, almost too sensual...but not quite.
Must stop now, need a drink...

Ahh Yes, the '09 near the top with fedora Bob, Goose a disciple, makers of the very reliable brand mix - The Reach. But this is on their "named on the label" cuvee'

Mark at Maj waved this past my binoculars last Thursday. I have it in range. No '09's seen.....Yet. Fedora Bob has not reviewed the '08 ? He liked the style of the '06 as well.

For the offer - satisfaction to value, you may have one of the most worthy '08 MSB's in your hand Mr B.

With gk on this. It was originally a percentage symbol

took it to read degree though as can't imagine a MSB with 7% alcohol

There are a few Late Harvest MSB's out there at 7~8% alc., not many though, Forrest Estate is one producer. I've never come across or tatsed one. I think they blend with Riesling.

I only have one vice...I lie. So alright, I'll come clean...it was edited from a % symbol. Now have more...still base-line moving. Can the '09 be better one asks oneself.

I only saw it when it was a degree symbol. But, as I say to the kids, I won't be cross if you tell the truth, even if it's bad, but I'll be FURIOUS if I find out you were lying.

I have an 08 but no 09 in Cardiff MW yet.

No sign of Vavasour's The Reach 08 at Tesco yet either.

Which is odd.

Their Dashwood 09 has been out for months. Buttery and ripe and not for me but I do so love the bottle design.

The Reach 08 has come and gone Goose - sold out on the Tesco site.

Yeah Tesco 25% off anything offer, AND YOU KNOW WHAT - all the best stuff was mysteriously sold out - How funny is that - well I'm a bloody twerp for thinking it wouldn't be, Oh Yes.... just programme the best offers off the list as SOLD OUT.

Duh !

The email came in - I immediately looked at the Tresco site - Sold Out. Why do I bother looking at that wretched stuff.

Bugger...I meant The Reach 09.

Almost time for the 2010. Maybe Tesco are dropping it.
