Very enjoyable...passion fruit with a touch of oatmeal.

The nicest of the tropical fruit style of Marlborough that i've had.

Not worth the absurd single bottle price of £11.99 though

New vintage 2006 is very similar to Jackson Estate at it's best.

Lighter bodied with the oak not so evident and the passion fruit replaced by a long, crunchy green pepper finish....wonderful !!!

Amazing how so many NZ sb producers seem to make totally different wines with each vintage.

Montana aside..obviously :D

Looks like you had a good Saturday night.

Absolutely nothing to do with wine but we went up to town to see Richard Schiff in Underneath the Lintel. Blimey, it was good. We don't go to the theatre much, because quite often we're moderately disappointed and it's 2.5 hours each way. This was outstanding. I can absolutely recommend it to almost anyone. However, I had a glass of house red in an Italian brasserie close to the theatre, which was, not surprisingly, pretty light and fruity. An EU wine of no known parents, made without skill and with no aim, other than that it slips down without anyone noticing anything about it at all. The play was exactly the opposite. Beautifully executed, with a message (although not rammed down the throat) and gentle, smile-inducing, wit. Several times the phrase "God, this is good!" skipped across my brain. The audience laughed out loud throughout at the skill with which Richard Schiff delivered. We went because we like him as Toby in the West Wing, but he was even better than Toby at his best.
