It's wines like this that make me hope that Sainsbury lose all wine sales.

The price is fake as it's only ever sold for 18.99 and this bottle then came with 1/4 off so 15.00ish but the intention to delude and rip off it's customers is still there.

The wine is severely dry and totally devoid of fruit.

It's bordering upon unpleasant...

I didn't buy this and only had one glass but as S'y have the worst record for shit, overpriced, junk wines from famous regions I will never buy wine there again.

A pointless protest but tis all I can do.

Goose, in the end I could not be bothered to go down there. I have good stocks, and may reduce intake a little - We'll see.

However,

I did order some Volnay 1er Les Mitans '05. It is reported to be vigorous, and is for laying down, Me....I shall have the pleasure of securing some '05 before it is mostly gone, or hiked-up more.
