CHAMPAGNE & SPARKLING WINE Prosecco Extra Dry 12.99/9.99 then 8.99 in Dec Fragrant pear aroma. Light pear taste. Quite dry, which is a relief. Taittinger Brut NV £36.00£26.00 Dec Promo I love this wine. I love its biscuit aroma. Its full flavor and tangy bright and long acidity. Delicious. Nyetimber Classic Cuvée 2004 £29.99£22.99 If anything, this aroma is better than the Taittinger. It tastes better as well. AND, Taittinger is my favourite champagne. That says something. SHERRY PX Bodegas Toro 1985 £14.99 (half bottle) Burnt aroma. Delicious taste. Quite savoury so not gaggingly sweet as some. Served well chilled, which makes a lot of difference. DESSERT WINE Castelnau de Suduiraut 2009 £11.99£10.99 (half bottle) Rich, apricot jam aroma. Bright acidity and a touch of marmalade bitterness. Lighter than the grand vin. |
