Tesco Premiéres Côtes de Bordeaux NV £5.99 Yvon Mau Golden yellow colour. Honeyed aroma. Sweet, savoury and light. Pleasant. 13% Tesco Finest* Fino NV (50cl) £5.9 Bodegas Barbadillo Quite a creamy nose, but still wonderfully yeasty and salty. Rounded and less in-your-face than some finos. It's almost fruity. 15% Tesco Finest* Manzanilla NV (50cl) £5.9 Bodegas Barbadillo Fruity aroma. Again, the taste is quite fruity. Not for the sherry purist, but perhaps for people who think they don't like sherry. 15% Tesco Finest* 10 Year Old Tawny Port £14.40 Symington Family Estates, Vinhos, Lda Earthy aroma. Like baked red earth in, for example, Portugal. Smooth and easy taste. This is easy Tawny. Bordering on lazy tawny. 20% Tesco Finest* Vintage Port 1994 £22 Symington Family Estates Deep, dark, very ripe fruit on the nose. Spirity, which dark, rich, chocolatey fruit.
