Glad to hear that the Saget's are making a decent fist of the 2011 quote Mel's WOTW - Mineral, grapefruity nose. Fresh, crunchy fruit with length. Good and likeable The 2009 and 2010 have been very nice, I have a few 2010's on the rack Lord knows, I must be getting old - Guy saget bought the vineyards in 1975 or so, and from the late 70's I used to buy the wines from Oddbins, then Wizzard and Majestic and Bordeaux Direct. I used to think that Guy Saget used to have a big hand in the wine making there, but as the business has grown, the boys don't appear to have learnt the hands on skill ? Or they get in a professional, Anyway..... The remaining brands of the old Guy Saget holdings and split between brother and sons are in the link below: Jean- Louis's brother Christian does the other half of the family business it seems hope you're not bored with the history ! |

This wine is on Offer again. Only one bottle left at 16:00 today £13.99 less £4 = £9.99 in my Waitrose store today. The vintage is 2011 04/01/13 |
