EXTRA SPECIAL BEAUJOLAIS VILLAGES 2010
St Etienne des Ouillières - Beaujolais Villages AOC
Pasquier Desvignes
100% Gamay
Synthetic Cork
The grapes were 70% machine harvested from 20-25 year old vines starting the second week in September. Maceration on skins took place over six hours to extract colour. The juice was then racked into stainless steel tanks. Fermentation took place at 16-18°C for 15 days.

Pleasant cherry aroma. Ripe fruit and quite pleasant.

EXTRA SPECIAL ‘CHÂTEAU DES DEDUITS’ FLEURIE 2010
Fleurie AOC
Pasquier Desvignes (Chateau Des Déduits)
100% Gamay
Screw Cap
The grapes were hand-picked at the beginning of September from 20-30 year old vines from Chateau des Deduits. Traditional Beaujolais vinification of whole bunches placed in oak vats and semi-carbonic maceration of a period of 8-10 days under temperature controlled conditions. The wine was aged in oak vats for four to six months prior to bottling.

Light on the nose. Quite a savoury flavour. Nice bit of oak makes for an interesting wine.

LUGNY RED BURGUNDY 2009
Bourgogne AOC
Cave de Lugny

Screw Cap
The grapes were sourced from the village of Saint Gengoux-de-Scisse. The grapes were both machine and hand-picked from 35 year old vines. A short maceration, then alcoholic fermentation was carried out in temperature controlled stainless steel vats (constant temperature of 28 to 30°C) and wooden vats. Malolactic fermentation took place with no oak ageing.
Quite light on the aroma. Dry and not very lovely.

EXTRA SPECIAL BORDEAUX SUPÉRIEUR ROC-MONTALON 2010 **NEW**
Bordeaux Supérieur AOC
Le Grande Chais de France
75% Merlot, 25% Cabernet Sauvignon
Synthetic cork
The wine is vinified at the Saint Savin site. The grape sourcing is done according to
a precise parcels selection (density: at least 4000 plants/Ha and high quality grapes). The alcoholic fermentation is carried out at 30°C. The pump overs and delestages were managed in order to reach a good extraction and to avoid aggressive tannins. Once the alcoholic fermentation was finished, the grapes were macerated (the total period of contact between grapes and juice was three weeks).

Young, fruity and not very clarety nose. Not typical, but rather good. Very much ripe merlot. Spicy and pretty good.

CHÂTEAU LE PRE DU MOINE 2010
Bordeaux AOC

Screw Cap
The grapes were machine harvested from 30 year old vines. Traditional fermentation took place in temperature controlled cement vats. Fermentation took place at a low temperature to preserve freshness. No malolactic fermentation, no oak used. Early bottling took place to preserve freshness and fruit.

Little on the nose. Needs food. Too dry to be drunk alone. However I word that it sounds like I have a drink problem.
