Casa Lapostolle 'Cuvée Alexandre' Pinot Noir 2010, Casablanca Valley £18.74 13.5% Cork 100% Pinot Noir from Lapostolle Atalayas Vineyard Malolactic fermentation is done in French oak barrels followed by just 4 months of aging. A darker style of pinot. Sweet and strangely empty taste. Tabalí Reserva Carmenère 2010, Colchagua Valley £9.99 14.5% Cork The wine was aged for 12 month in 50% French oak and 50% American oak barrels. Attractively minty nose. Lovely taste. Vanilla and raspberry flavours. But dark with the oak. This is great. |
