Bourgogne Pinot Noir 'Les Pierres Rouges' 2009, Louis Jadot £12.99 13% Cork Not a lot going on on the nose. Nice ripe fruit and juicy acidity. Fair price. I’d hold onto it to see what happens. Côte de Nuits-Villages 2010, Nicolas Potel £14.99 13% Cork Very pale colour. Little aroma. Nice savoury taste. Altogether a lovely mouthful. Buy some on offer and sit on it for a couple of years. Pommard Vieilles Vignes 2008, Nicolas Potel £19.99 13% Very pale indeed for Pommard. Lovely nose. Undergrowth, vanilla and warm fruit. Savoury and oaky taste. Very nice, but light for Pommard. |
