Central Valley, Chile 6.99 85% Merlot and 15% Carmenère sourced from Concha y Toro estates and other selected vineyards. 40% of the grapes were dripirrigated and 20% mechanically harvested. The fruit was destemmed and later crushed, then fermented in stainless steel tanks. Full malolactic and aged for 4 months in stainless steel tanks at a temperature of 14 - 15°. Bottled Sept 2010. Winemaker Mario Miranda. Alc 12.5%, TA 5.36g/l, pH 3.51, RS 6.95g/l. Special Offer; Save 1/3, £6.99 - £4.66 from 07/12/11 to 03/01/12. Waitrose Wine Direct and 263 branches.
