Tasted 05/07/11 Tesco Finest*Bisol Prosecco di Valdobbiadene NV, 9.99, Tesco Smells just like tinned pears. Pretty sweet and pear flavoured. Like a rather nice and fully ripe pear. Quite pleasant. Tesco Finest* Blanquette de Limoux 1531 2008, 9.99, Tesco Biscuity nose. Pretty sweet. Not tart at all. Rounded and easy to drink. Like it. Elyssia Grand Cuveé NV, £90 (case of six)Current offer price: £60, Tesco Greenly fruity nose. Tangy, pithy and dry. Of its type. Tesco Finest* Premier Cru Champagne, 19.99, Tesco Fruity, toasty nose. Nicely inviting. Biscuity, full-flavoured but moderately short. Tesco Finest* Vintage Champagne 2004, 25.99, Tesco Nicely fresh and fruity nose. Full-flavoured, vibrant and quite long. Champagne Bollinger Rosé NV, 45.99, Tesco Peach-coloured. Very full-flavoured. Really intense flavours and biting bubbles.Goes on and on and on. |
