I also had a bit of a soft spot for the Cienna 2008, which is £5.99 at selected Tesco, Budgens, Londis and Nisa. It has just 5% of alcohol and smells sweetly of blackcurrants. It’s dark purple. Karen exposed herself by saying it was like Lambrusco. I thought it was like fizzy blackcurrant jam and others red fizzy grape juice. You get the picture. Perfect with summer pudding. Tellingly, when the panel went home I had another glass. Very odd, but quite pleasant. May 2011 |
