The Chardonnay 2009, which is in Budgens, Morrisons, Sainsbury’s, Tesco and Waitrose, has a fat, tropical, sweet, honeyed nose, with a little oak. It’s a very attractive nose. The taste is very sweet and ripe and there was just a bit too much oak texture. A pity, because it was so inviting initially. Mar 2011 |
