100% Chardonnay. The grapes are crushed and destemmed and the juice settled for 24 hours before starting alcoholic fermentation. Cultivated yeasts were added and the juice fermented for 15 days at 17°C. Once fermentation is completed the wine was transferred to a mixture of oak barrels and stainless steel, completing malolactic fermentation naturally. 3% of the wine was aged in oak, 97% in stainless steel. Produced exclusively for Sainsbury's by Vignerons de Buxy, formed in 1931 and consisting of 45 workers with 1100 HA of vineyards. Winemaker ~ Alain Pierre.

Spicy, black peppery nose. Quite a savoury, almost dirty taste. Not fat and rich, but more cool and zingy.
