Winemaker and winery: Bodegas Williams & Humbert SAU. Grape variety: Palomino. Region: Jerez –Xérès-Sherry, Jerez Superior Pago Balbaina. Viticulture/Vinification: Prime grape must is used. After controlled fermentation of the must the wine is transferred to the “criadera and solera” system where it is biologically aged under a veil of yeast (‘flor’) in 500 L. American white oak butts for an average of 3 years. Availability:279 stores. Very marmitey nose. Yeasty and full-flavoured. Fabulous after a row of blinding reds. 23/03/10 |
