Winemaker and winery: Claudio Manera, Araldica. Grape variety: 100% Barbera. Region: Piedmont. Viticulture/Vinification: This wine is made from hand-picked grapes. Classic red fermentation at coolish temperatures. A proportion of the wine is matured in oak to add complexity. Availability: Now - 316 stores. 13.0% vol. Young, juicy, bright fruit on the nose and very juicy acidity. Refreshing picnic wine. 23/03/10 |
