Winemaker and winery: Hervé Sabardeil. Vindivin. Grape variety: 100% Grenache Noir. Region: Corbières, Maury and vineyards across Eastern Pyrenees. Viticulture/Vinification: Hand-picked fruit from vines aged between 25 and 100 years old. Part-fermented at 25-26°C and part at 19-20°C before assemblage. This wine is unoaked. Availability: Now – 600 stores. 14.5% vol. Spicy and hot nose. Dark, plummy and not as hot as expected. Not my think, but not bad. Might be good with sautéed liquorice and venison. 23/03/10 |
