Winemaker and winery: Jean-Luc Chaleat, Cave de Saint Désirat. Grape variety: 100% Gamay. Region: Northern Rhône – south of Lyon on the right bank of the Rhône river. Viticulture/Vinification: The grapes are from both terraced and plateaux vineyards located between the middle and northern end of the St. Joseph AC and have undergone carbonic maceration. This wine is unoaked. Availability: 461 stores. 12% vol. Young red Gamay nose, with something nutty. Nutty taste as well. OK, but who will buy it at this price.
