Winemaker: Adrian Sparks, McWilliams. Grape Variety: 92% Shiraz, 5% Durif, 3% other. Region: South East Australia - 90% of this wine is from the Riverina area of South Australia with 10% Barossa Fruit. Viticulture/Vinification: Careful fermentation on skins at cool temperatures to retain the fruity character is followed by gentle pressing. Availability: Now – 200 stores. Very sweet blackberry nose. Extremely fruity wine. Like squashed blackberries with gin. Not ideal. 23/03/10 |
