Winemaker and winery: Arrigo Bidoli, Bidoli Vini – Margherita & Arrigo srl. Grape variety: 100% Cabernet Franc. Region: Friuli, Northern Italy. Viticulture/Vinification: A part of the grapes are directly pressed, the other macerated for some hours and then pressed, settled, racked and fermented with selected yeasts at a controlled temperature of about 14°C. Availability: Now – 138 stores. This has a really pink label. My friend Sandra said it’s hen party wine. There’s very little on the nose. Just a touch of strawberry on the finish and an edge of tannin. OK. 23/03/10 |
