Winemaker and winery: Mr. Elvio Forato - Cantina B. Bartolomeo da Breganze s.c.a. Grape variety: Tai 75%, 25% Pinot Grigio. Region: Veneto, Italy. Viticulture/Vinification Harvested early in order to achieve naturally low alcohol grade. Soft pressing with only top-grade must extracted, cool fermentation in stainless steel tanks. Maturation: in stainless steel tanks. Availability: April – 100 stores. 9.5 % vol. What the heck’s Tai? It smells like Sauvignon Gris or Verdejo. Light as anything in the mouth and oddly fruity. As in odd fruit. Can’t understand it. Almost parma violets on the finish or fragrant pear? 23/03/10 |
