Cats rather than gooseberry. Very appealing smell. Good, zingy, typical taste - reasonable price - compares favourably with Stoneleigh and Montana.

Hi, Did you get around to tasting the Tesco ' finest ' Highfield Estate sauvignon blanc. If so, how do you rate it by comparison with Stoneleigh, Jackson Est etc. Best G |

Don't get me started on Tesco! Their press tasting was this week, but they have stopped inviting regional journalists. You'll need to try one of the nationals for that one. A friend of mine did go, so I'll ask her what she thought of it and get back to you. I understand that I will be invited in March. |
