100% Chardonnay. Mechanically harvested, cold settling before fermentation. Both yeast and malolactic fermentations in tanks. Matured 3 months on fine lees in tanks and aged a further 12 months in stainless steel with no oak aging. Caves des Vignerons de Chablis are the most important vineyard owners in Chablis with over 600 ha. This is a real asset when it comes to producing a Chablis that shows all the expressions of the terroirs. This wine comes from the villages of Beine, Béru, Chablis, Chichée which are renowned for their complexity. Winemaker ~ Bertrand Cherel at Union des Viticulteurs de Chablis.
Expected smell. Good flavour with plenty of texture and life. Lasts well. Good price.
