Do not confuse this with "Turning Leaf"; I did but I'm a little dyselsix. This is the "offer" price, and maybe at full whack it is not quite worth it. There is little to match this Californian at this price however,and I commend it to you whole heartedly.

Just having another of these and will def. get some more. Soft fruit to start, a slight acidic whack, then an actually dry(ish) finish. Has nobody else slurped this???

Loving the idea of wine cocktails at Chez Ba.

Never tried wine mixology or even thought to try it.... Interesting concept

Is turner road the bottle with the humming bird? I snobbishly always walk past that thinking is gonna be a relabelled echo falls or Blossom hill-a-like

Humming bird indeed. Not complicated, no pretentions. Solid, fruity and great value. Several flavours and an after taste. Go on waste £4

It actually works. The Turner Road is just a little too fruity at normal temps, and the Riesling 100% bland. My best ever blend was Sains Gran Tempranillo wimpy with Gran Garnacha tear-your-head-off gave 2 great bottles.

More infamy. Coldest few days of the year and the 18 million hampster-power boiler decided to pack up. Went to bed with book instead of poker. New fan fitted today. Warming up now.

There was no f in heat at the time.

I have a long-time bridge pal whose debilitating illness has finally gotten the better of him and he now cannot hold the cards or stay upright on a chair. His name is "Hamper" and I've always called him "Hampster". Now sadly confined to his Slimbridge home.

Is this the 'Reserve'?

If so tried this over the weekend. Morrisons Half price at £4.99. Nice, sweet and fruity. A hint of confection and a little oiliness. Sweet vanilla on the finish. Good value at this price.
