Rich and ripe and appealing. Most definitely a ripe Sauvignon – there’s nothing green about this – like ripe stewed gooseberries. Lovely cooked gooseberry in the mouth, perhaps with some elderflower. Not at all like a Marlborough, but rather lovely.  28/04/2009 |
