Minty, refreshing aroma. It’s 100% Sangiovese Grosso, but smells as if there’s a bit of Cabernet in there. Oh God, the taste is beautiful. Blimey. It is delicious. Oaky and evolved, with flavours of perhaps well-cooked plum crumble, made with very ripe plums. Perfect, right now. 30/04/2009 |
