This is Waitrose’s version of Fairtrade. If I understand it right, the premium we normally pay to help the wine region’s communities is being stumped up by Waitrose, rather than the consumer. Sounds good. Smells more like Sauvignon than Chenin. Very tasty – almost too tasty. I’d rather like to dilute it a bit. 30/04/2009 |
