Not a very nice aroma. A little like Alka Selza. Luscious, sweet, fruity and fresh. The most delicious taste. Mouth watering and almost sensual in its ripeness. 01/04/2009 |

Frogenbeerenauslese it's not, but it does want to take over the world. Amazing nose and flavour but, like dry crackers, you can't partake of any quantity. A glass or two will do fine, then switch to something else (after a glass of water). |

I had two glasses of this today. Odd wine. I couldn't decide if I liked it a lot or not at all. Slate, some orange stone fruit and more than a hint of Blue Nun. Sweet slate...I take it Mosel riesling gets much, much better than this. |
