Winemaker and winery: Nicolas Bizzarri, Luis Felipe Edwards (LFE) Winery. Grape variety: 100% Carmenère. Region: Valle Central, Chile. Viticulture/Vinification: Winemaker, Nicolas Bizzarri, treats his grapes gently to create wines with soft and supple tannins as well as vibrant flavours. The fruit was grown in the Valle Central where the stony soils produce fruit with depth of flavour. This wine has been left unoaked to allow the purity of the fruit to be come through. Some green pepper on the nose and not a lot of ripe fruit. Sweet and easy. Have had better 13.50% 150 stores. 02/04/09 |
