100% Syrah, from 15 year-old vines planted on colluvial soils in a transverse valley, perfect for long hang time, and cool ripening, with extreme diurnal fluctuations. Pre-ferment maceration. Suitable for vegetarians. Intense, glass-staining, colour. Vanilla, syrupy scent. Very sweetly, hotly, syrupy in the mouth. Huge, but not my thing. Alc 14.5%, TA 3.35g/l, pH 3.71.
