I served this on Saturday to quite a lot of guests, for my belated birthday dinner. It was a real hit. Possibly because I marketed it well (would you like sherry, New Zealand Sauvignon or a very lovely Italian white).. If you're making up a Majestic order, it's def worth including. I think I got a discount by buying more than 2.

Rather a lovely, heady, floral smell, if you let it warm up in the glass. Lovely fresh acidity compared with the other Italian whites. Mouth watering and attractive.

A very lovely Italian white ?

You don't fool us.

There's no such thing.

OK Goose, ....Oik or not !

Just because Silvio Berlusconi, allegedly, a notorious baby snatcher and trickster, doesn't mean that all Italian wine should be painted with the same brush......

Noemi Letizia poses with a portrait of Silvio Berlusconi in her home in Naples. The 18-year-old has been quoted as saying she calls Berlusconi "papi" and has been photographed sporting a gold and diamond necklace the premier reportedly gave her as a birthday gift.

Pathetic.

Next time you've got 10 bottles in a Majestic trolley, try a couple of this. Really.

Thanks for re-affirming that Mel, I'll let a few of my friends know.

I'm drinking from stock at the moment. My dear father is not well at all, and I have shelled out heavily for respite care.

A note for Goose, the Crossings 2007 is holding very well, even without chilling striaght from my store, the wine was lovely. A little bit of stalk and skin was evident at the higher temp - but perfectly acceptable
