Lovely bargain, not just for price but for quality: normal price £7.99, offer price £3.99, a nice £4 off. A deep plum colour, fullish body, with a screw cap; 13.5%, but seems stronger than that. Long, lingering, mouth filling finish; trying to give it time to breathe before i slurp this one all up ... managed an hour, worth the wait as well, it develops. crunchy fruit, firm yet yielding tannins, scented pansies, not cloying. it seems a touch restrained, feel there is more to come through ...its a 2006 screw cap ...would it develop ...? |
